I’d Be The Woman

This project was about visually communicating multiple voices about one theme. Using two songs by Taylor Swift and a novel, I compared the younger feminine voice from  “I’m Only Me When I’m With You” lyrics with how that voice matures, utilizing the song lyrics from “The Man” and quotes from the novel Little Women. This book design demonstrates how a young girl in love believes she needs a man to feel complete. As the voice matures, the woman now finds that being independent and strong and complete doesn’t mean needing a man but finding love and contentment in herself.
